Today, as I head out to church, I surrender.
I surrender Lord, to however you chose to move. I surrender to being moved by You. I surrender to allowing tears to fall. I surrender to hearing Your call. I surrender.
I won’t hold back as I feel Your gentle touch. I will allow You anywhere You want to go within my heart.
I surrender Lord, I surrender to You. Come and move me, move me closer into You.
This morning, as you greet the day, I challenge you to offer it as a sacrifice. Sacrifice your time, and let Holy Spirit set the pace. Throw your schedule away and embrace a move of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Imagine yourself breathing in the Holy Spirit with each breath. See Him moving over your life. Will you let Him have full reign? Can you lay down your expectations and agenda today and let the Lord of all life move in and through you?
Surrender your rights to Him, and He will pour out upon you more than you could ask or imagine. Surrender your mind to Him and you will find the peace for which you have been searching. Surrender your heart to Him and you will be healed and whole. The key to life with Christ is surrender. And while you are surrendered, put on love.
Blessings to you this day. I pray you feel Him swaddle you with His love and provision. He cares for you.
Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer. How long will people turn my glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods? Know that the Lord has set apart His faithful servant for Himself; the Lord hears when I call to Him. Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the Lord. Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of Your face shine on us. Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10
