Day 339: Victory (December 5)

I seem to keep circling around this word….Victory….I can’t seem to escape it.

I believe God is calling us to a season of discovering His victory.  To a season where we no longer fumble through life feeling like good will never win until the end, and see that Light is conquering darkness every single day.  He is moving and breathing over us.  He is breathing victory cries into our souls.  Will you let out that shout?

VICTORY!!!

God, the victory is Yours.  I don’t have to wait to see victory, I can live it out today.  Lord, make me more aware of all the victory around me.  Lord, help me move in power instead of as one who is certain of a loss.  Even though the dark seems greater than the Light, restore my perspective of the One Who has already defeated death and the grave.  We are called to rise up on the wings of that Victory that was so preciously purchased for us even before we existed upon the earth.

We are not meant to live out our days in the grueling cycle of life, no!  We are called to be more than conquerors through Christ Jesus.  I wonder when we will act like it?

Today, I encourage you to spend time with God and ask Him to create victory inside of you.  Ask Him to give you a victorious mindset and to help you find the hope in any and all situations and circumstances.

I dare you to believe Him.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.  In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will- to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.  And He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment- to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.  Ephesians 1:3-10
