I keep hearing the word, “Firewall”.
Firewall: A wall or partition designed to inhibit or prevent the spread of fire.
Years ago, when we had a particularly unpleasant president, I had a very clear vision from God. I saw God’s hand positioned on the earth, and that president kept running forward and trying to push through the hand, but it was impossible. God was frustrating his plans. In other words, God would only allow him to reach a certain point, like a firewall. It brought me a lot of peace as we walked through his second term. Even though he did a lot of evil things, I knew God would only allow a certain amount of forward motion in his term.
Now, I feel that hand again, that Godly firewall.
As I see the mounting evidence of voter fraud and even voting machines designed to cheat, (this isn’t new news by the way, we’ve known for years, but have had no recourse.) I see God has put a cap on how far the anti-Christ agenda will proceed.
I hear God saying this is a “This far and no further” moment.
What’s our role then? Stay strong. God is doing something, but we must stay the course and allow Him the space and time to complete this good work. We didn’t simply need Trump to win a second term, we also needed our voting process to become safe again. It’s a “two for the price of one” moment. In one election we are receiving Trump’s second term and cleaning house in preparation for the next election.
There are many reasons that God chose a man like Trump. Very few people have the confidence and fortitude to withstand the amount of attacks that he and his family has suffered. We must be praying for him and his family to be protected and that they will remain strong.
No, I’m not saying Trump is our salvation, but I am saying that he is an instrument of God for this specific time. God is the one holding back the anti-Christ spirit on earth, and He is choosing to use Trump for this purpose. For such a time as this we were all created. We need to acknowledge this and not act like victims of the times. We were CREATED to live and battle during this time.
Prayer Moment: God bless America. Fill our country with holiness and justice…true justice, not a perversion of truth. God, please continue to protect us from the anti-Christ agenda. You are our only hope. We put our trust in You alone. Help us to recognize those You are using according to Your purposes in this season and show us how to partner with them. Keep us diligent and watchful so we are constantly aware of the time and season. Deliver us from the evil one. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Let’s always remember Who this is all about and where we are headed….
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over His kingdom establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7
