Deeper Day 342: Implore

Implore: beg someone earnestly or desperately to do something.

I find myself imploring God, more and more lately. My heart and flesh seem to be crying out to Him. My soul cries out from within me. In much the same way I felt during labor, I feel myself aching to see the move of the Lord that will shatter all the enemies efforts and establish God’s plan upon the earth for all to see. I ache to see Him glorified. I groan internally to see justice and truth prevail. I cry out to the Living God.

I’m not in torment, I’m in a season of imploring.

What’s the difference? Well, I’m so glad you asked.  When someone is in torment, they have lost hope and are being barraged by enemy attacks. They are feeling like there is no way out and are losing sight of truth. In this season of imploring, I find myself aching inside with this statement, “God, I KNOW You can make light work of this, so come on and do it! Show Yourself and bring shame upon the enemy.” It’s an earnest cry for God to do what I am 100% positive He can and will do. I have not lost hope, on the contrary, I’m more set in my spirit than ever.

Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to You, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name. Increase the days of the king’s life, his years for many generations. May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever; appoint Your love and faithfulness to protect Him. Then will I ever sing praise to Your name and fulfill my vows day after day. Psalm 61

It’s ok to come to God and state your problems. It’s ok to ask God to act on your behalf. It’s ok to implore God to save America. We are the ONLY country that serves as a refuge to the world. We MUST stand. The season for the other things is not yet here. We are still walking in grace. We are to be reaping the harvest of souls.

Let’s be who we are called to be. Let’s implore God for His salvation and then let’s use the extension of grace to go and make disciples of every nation, but this time, let’s not forget our own. We MUST evangelize our own country. That’s our season.

Prayer Moment: God, thank You for Your grace. I adore all that You are. God, give me courage to speak the gospel to those I interact with on a daily basis. Help me to never be ashamed of the gospel. God, I implore You to come and save America. Establish Trump’s second term, just like You said You would. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:21-22
