The Fountain Day 189: The Eagle

I saw an eagle as I sat down to write…

This eagle had been removed from its nest and a lot of trash and really, a mess had been put in its place within the nest…but as I looked, I saw the eagle rise from its uprooted position and come back to the nest…Come back with authority…plucking out every scrap of trash from its nest and sitting with definite authority.

“The eagle has landed.”, I hear the Lord saying…”The eagle has landed.”  “I am Restoration.”

All is about to be restored.  Every bit and tittle that the enemy has stolen or destroyed, will be restored.

Man, I can’t tell you how much I receive this word.  No, I can’t say that I know all that it means…because I don’t.  We should each pray about that.

By the way, I don’t know if I’ve ever discussed this on here before, but when a prophetic word is given, there are two separate responsibilities…one.  The giver of the word better be tuned in to God and only speak what God is saying and that’s it.  They should come at it from a position of love.  Two:  The hearer of the word is responsible for taking the word to God and searching it out.  Asking if it is true and for any further detail.

Some words are for today, some are foundational for the future, and some are warnings…

Today’s word comes as a word of restoration…a word of jubilance.  A celebration.  This is the scripture He led me to…

Restoration of Israel’s Remnant                                                                                                                         “Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.  From beyond the rivers of Cush My worshipers, My scattered people, will bring me offerings.  On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to Me, because I will remove from you your arrogant boasters.  Never again will you be haughty on My holy hill.  But I will leave within you the meek and humble.  The remnant of Israel will trust in the name of the Lord.  They will do no wrong; they will tell no lies.  A deceitful tongue will not be found in their mouths.  They will eat and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.”  Sing, Daughter Zion; shout aloud, Israel!  Be glad and rejoice (jubilant) with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.  The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior Who saves.  He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing.  I will remove from you all who mourn over the loss of your appointed festivals, which is a burden and reproach for you.  At that time, I will deal with all who oppressed you.  I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles.  I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame.  At that time, I will gather you; at that time, I will bring you home.  I will give you honor and praise among the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes,” says the Lord.   Zephaniah 3:9-20

How should we receive this??  With jubilance!

What a mighty God we serve!

I receive this word, Lord.  Thank You for encouraging my heart today.  I will keep my hands to the plow as You move on our behalf.  Show us Your glory.  Let all that occurs make it beyond evident that all glory belongs to You and You, alone.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

“Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.  Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove You a liar.”  Proverbs 30:5-6
