I believe that as children of God we are all capable of being exceptional. Does that seem like a bold statement to you? I think it’s just an obvious statement.
When we become part of God’s family, we are adopted in…grafted in. We become a child of God. How can a child of God not have the potential to be exceptional?
I believe we need to press into what it means to be chosen. Set apart. Grafted into God’s family.
The world is under the influence. Intoxicated by the enemy and all his schemes. The church has been in a stupor of slavery to poverty spirit.
Shouldn’t the family of God be the ones influencing the culture? Shouldn’t God’s kids be the leaders, not followers of the world?
Shouldn’t God’s family be establishing and running the businesses that employ the masses? What would change in our culture if that was what was happening? What if we led the world in the economy?
We are supposed to be exceptional.
Today, I encourage you to ask God to reveal to you His dream over your life. I encourage you to believe Him for the best in your life. The best antidote for the many ails of the world would be for us to invade the marketplace and media. We are meant to be the influencers. The longer we stand by and pretend we are less than, the longer the enemy will inhabit those places.
What if today you asked God to do “beyond anything you could imagine” in your own life?
As He reveals His plan for your life, then allow Him to mold you into what He desires. Give Him the freedom to do with you as He pleases. This takes courage and humility, but it’s so worth it.
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of His power and love.” Isaiah 55:8-13
