A field of lies is being planted. Daily we are inundated with contrasting “truth” and “lies” …
Not just in America, this is happening in many other places. A chess game over who will control the world. An edging toward a one world government.
We must be bathed in truth. The truth. The Truth.
Let’s look at some scripture…
The godly offer good counsel, they teach right from wrong. They have made God’s law their own, so they will never slip from His path. The wicked await in ambush for the godly, looking for an excuse to kill them. But the Lord will not let the wicked succeed or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial. Put your hope in the Lord. Travel steadily along His path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed. I have seen wicked and ruthless people flourishing like a tree in its native soil. But when I looked again, they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them! Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace. But the rebellious will be destroyed; they have no future. The Lord rescues the godly; He is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in Him. Psalm 37:30-40
The more that I consult Scripture, the more I am encouraged to stay the course. All we have to do to be protected and even prosperous is to put our hope in the Lord.
Life is truly simple, as I keep saying.
If we place our hope in Jesus, we will have all we need. The thing I’ve noticed in our human nature is that often we know we should rest and hope in Jesus, but when trouble comes, we often do the opposite…therefore, making the problem worse. It’s our own doing. We make it worse. It’s not the enemy. Not the Lord. Not our family. It’s you and me. We get in our own way.
We must steep ourselves in Scripture. We must act like we know what we’ve read in Scripture.
It’s go time.
It’s time to act like we know God. Not just say it.
We must be the wise counsel we just read about as we live from the counsel we receive in Scripture.
Does this make sense?
I hope I have delivered wise counsel today.
I encourage you to lean into Scripture and ask God to give you wisdom. He gives freely.
