I have realized, over the years, that we can find beauty in any and every circumstance…if we’re only willing to look.
Walking through the process we’ve been in this week has been a good reminder of that truth.
There is beauty everywhere.
Realizing God set up Chris’ schedule, so he was in state to be there for his brother. Realizing that our children are more than capable to rise to the occasion and even extremely willing, changes everything. Being able to, as a mom, focus on my husband and let the kids tend to themselves…any parent knows how HUGE that is. Knowing that God set up every moment so we had exactly what we needed…it’s too much to list.
In this glorious and heavenly provision…we find beauty.
In the bonding that occurs through pain…we find beauty.
In the shared sorrow and bearing one another’s burdens…we find beauty.
In serving those who are struggling most…we find beauty.
Reaching for my husband and sharing our strength…is beauty.
God can make all things beautiful.
Even as Jesus hung on the cross, mangled and bleeding…we find beauty.
His willingness to lay down His life for us created the most beautiful thing possible. Eternal life.
I encourage you to always look for the beauty in everything. No matter what situations you’re facing, look for the beauty. Are you struggling in some way? Ask God to come and make it beautiful. Are you in pain? Ask God to show you where the beauty is…He makes all things beautiful in His time.
All things.
All.
We simply choose to see it, or not. It’s there regardless.
Will you choose to see?
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11
