Resurrection Day 366: Precipice

We stand on the edge of the cliff. The sun is shining and the grass around is lush…yet, we feel adventure calling.

“Step off the edge!”, it yells.

Not seeing anything to step onto…we have learned to trust…and take one step forward.

Suddenly, our foot finds a solid surface…we step again…finding another.

Then we see.

There is a path before us…

It only could’ve been found in faith.

Unable to be seen by the cautious.

The fearful will never find it.

But you and I, friend, we have found it.

Congratulations!

Let’s step out into tomorrow and find new parts of God’s heart to explore. Find new battles to be victorious over. Find new relationships and anointings. Find the grace that is new every morning.

Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.

Let’s make a decision today.

Let’s decide to keep pursuing. In fact, let’s pursue even more intently.

Let’s decide to pray without ceasing. No matter where you are in every moment, find that connection with your first Love.

Let’s decide to include God in every moment. Not just during quiet time or at church, but all throughout our day.

We stand at a precipice.

It’s time to be bold. Acknowledge the power of the Holy Spirit that resides inside of you…and move.

God has given us an extension of grace, let’s not waste a bit of it by being afraid or hesitant.

Until I meet you again…

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and give you peace. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit…

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10
