I kept hearing this word as I ran today, yes I ran. As I felt my body lend toward activity again, I took some small obedient steps to make that happen. Taking each day on it’s own. Anyway, precipice is the word of the day.
Precipice: 1. A very steep or overhanging place. 2. A hazardous situation.
Wow! That couldn’t feel more true. We are in that place. Do you see it? Can you hear it every time you turn on the T.V. or look at Facebook? But instead of falling into that place where believers stick their heads in the sand because, “These things must happen before Jesus comes back.” Yes, that’s true, but don’t you think He would rather come back finding His people still fighting, not hiding out?
I believe, because He has spoken it to me, that I am to fight until…..
He told me this once when I asked, “How long should I prepare for the future because everything feels so precarious.” He spoke immediately and confidently, “Until”
Well, what else do I need to know?
I will fight until there is no more fighting to do. I will stand until there is no longer a need. Which basically means I will fight and stand until I’m in heaven.
As we stand on this precipice, not only in our own country, but so many others, let us not forget we are all warriors. We are ALL called to battle in the spirit. Nobody gets a free pass. We all fight in different ways, sure, but we are all called to actively storm the gates until…….
Are you willing? Will you stand with me today? Pick up your sword and stop being afraid! You were made for this and were created to live in such a time as this!
Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. Matthew 25:13
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of man. Matthew 24:36-37
Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13
