These words kept circling through my mind. I couldn’t stop thinking them. I wondered what God was trying to say to me about them, then it hit me…pardon the pun… God is speaking to His people and this is what He is saying,
As believers we must be dedicated to faithfulness in reading scripture and worshiping Him, so when things happen in the world, we are set and braced for impact. We can so root and establish ourselves in Him that we are unbreakable and unbending. We can weather storms and not get caught up in the nonsense of the world. It is possible to be so founded in Him that when events occur, we see truth immediately and can operate separate from the world from the start.
I believe that far too many of us were caught so off-guard by things in March that we were reeling and off balance, but those of us who maintain deep connection with God and His word, were far less affected. I seriously witnessed this in my close friend group. It was an immediate revealer of who had a steady foundation and who was tossed and turned about by the waves.
In my own heart I was able to see places of uncertainty and bring correction to them. I also realized how far I’ve come because I was able to see the lies and stand firmly against them as our family moved forward. I was able to turn away from the spirit of fear that roamed (and still is roaming) the earth and walk in passion and freedom.
Friends, in this season the enemy has shown his hand and it is clear he desires to take our freedoms away. This is because we have something that he doesn’t. He’s been an enemy of man from the start, and now he feels he’s got the upper hand. But I don’t think he does. I still feel in my soul that God is setting him up for an upset.
What if we are about to see the greatest move of God upon the earth since Jesus ripped the veil? What if we are being set up for a reset?
Rest assured, the enemy will likely try to bring more bombshells, the question is, “Will you be braced for impact?”
Prayer Moment: God, I long to be so centered in You that nothing and no one can separate us. I long to see this thing through. Every day I look forward to heaven. I can’t wait to be there with You. Please keep anything that could cause me to stumble, out of my life. Help me to walk on steady ground and carry a certainty that only You provide. I want my life to present itself as a beacon of hope to the world. I want to bless You. I adore You. In Jesus name, Amen.
At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:10-13
Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27
