The whole earth trembles at the Presence of the Lord. We have read that and sung that many times…but do you truly believe it? God is so much greater. Greater than anything.
Even the most powerful person, business, or organization on the earth has no impact on God’s greatness. There is no comparison.
Right now, the enemy is trying to make God’s people feel unprotected, assaulted, and intimidated…we MUST reach into the truth.
The truth is this, we don’t live for this world…we live for Jesus.
Powerful people harass me without cause, but my heart trembles only at Your word. Psalm 119:161
I love this scripture because it is a great reminder or Who should have the greatest impact on us. Not the threats of man…the word of God. When the apostles saw the death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ they became so bold that no amount of threatening, abuse, or even painful death would deter them from clinging to the only thing that matters. God.
Oh, that we would have a fraction of that same boldness. Oh, that we would deny our flesh and honor God.
Lord, have Your way!!
Why have we become so soft? So unwilling to stand in authority. Think of David, the little shepherd who was the only one willing to stand firm and confront Goliath. You don’t have to be larger than life to stand up to the darkness. You just need to know that One Who is greater. Greater than everything.
Rise up! Rise up!! Stand in the authority God has placed within you. Remember Who we tremble before and refuse to stand down to the enemy.
This is a season of war.
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob. He turned the rock into a pool of water; yes, a spring of water flowed from solid rock. Psalm 114:7-8
Use this scripture and command the earth to tremble at the presence of the Lord. Tell the earth Who God is and what He can do. We can stand with God and proclaim His greatness.
I encourage you to read the scripture out loud. Let yourself feel what happens when you proclaim the truth with your mouth. Something significant happens.
