Deeper Day 160: Rebellion

There is a lot going on right now and I notice everyone is deciding where they fit within the current state of things. Each side is attempting to force others into the narrative they’ve so skillfully woven. Except, that’s not how things work. We are all made individually. We are all different. Many of us are created as carriers of joy and peace and find our most powerful weapon is gentleness. Others may claim it’s weakness, but what I’ve discovered is that it takes far more strength to hold back and weigh your words and intentionally look for the good and be an agent of true change, than it is to shout and scream and use broad strokes when you paint the way you see the world. What about the heart? What about the life I’ve lived to get where I am today?

Many who are the first to say that we should champion individuals, are also the first to berate anyone who shares a differing opinion. Let’s suffice it to say that in today’s climate it can be a real challenge to not feel bitterness, no matter which side you are on.

One thing I will say with definitive conviction is this, rebellion is not ok.

Rebellion: An act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler. The action or process of resisting authority, control or convention.

For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has rejected you from being king. 1 Samuel 15:23

Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God. So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. Romans 13:1-2

There are many scriptures pertaining to rebellion and none of them represent it in a positive light. We must remember to lay aside our rights to immediately react to things, and instead follow Jesus’ lead to be still first. He spent so much time retreating to the quiet place. It’s the only way we can remain truly grounded in Him.

It can be so easy to get carried off in the tidal wave of emotion, but that’s not what we are called to do. We are called to mature.

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Ephesians 4:14

Prayer Moment: God, show me the truth. Remove anything that may be a veil over my eyes, obscuring the truth and moving me toward rebellion against You. Hold me close, God. So close that when You move, I have no doubt that You are moving. Let me be so sensitive to Your Spirit that I always know what direction You are moving, so I can follow You. Never let me be led astray. Hold me close and wrap my life in Your grace. In Jesus name, Amen.

Do you see a man who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Proverbs 29:20

(I wanted to share a poem I wrote for a devotional a few years ago)

The Voice I Have:

The voice I have, it may seem small, but it carries the authority of Heaven.  At one note sung, the warring angels have already surrounded to hear where they will go.

I know my voice, it may sound small, but it carries the voice of Eternity.

The voice I have is all I’ve got, and I’ll use it loud and proud.

The voice I have, it has wings and flies in many directions to slay a giant or comfort a heart, whatever the Father’s instructing.

My frame may seem so slight and small but when I walk in the anointing, the steps I take cause a great earthquake and the impact shakes to the heavens.

I am the only “me” I’ve got, so I will do the most I can, but I know that because I carry God inside there’s nothing I can’t command.

Deeper Day 159: Come, behold Him

Today, I was led to write about something that I truly believe with all my heart. If it’s contrary to what you hold as truth, that’s ok. I pray you always weigh my words and hold them before God to allow His breath to cover them and remove any hint of me out of them and only leave His truth. But today, I write more boldly because I feel it is time.

America is not dead. The American dream is not either. I’ve had multiple visions of God resurrecting our beautiful nation and restoring the innocence we’ve feared is lost. I’ve seen Him restoring unity among the people who love America. I’ve seen His hand move to restore our independence from all other nations and making us self-sufficient. I’ve seen Him continuing to make America a stabilizing force in the global scheme of things. God’s not finished with us yet.

I know this isn’t what all believe. I’ve even read and listened to some words and sermons of those in Christian circles who believe quite the opposite. All I can go by is what God is showing me. He has never shown me to pack it up and head for the hills, yet. Instead, every time I go before Him and inquire about America and what I should do, He shows me a deep season of grace and mercy, and instructs me to keep moving forward, until… So, that’s what I’ll do.

This morning while preparing devotionals, I flipped to this section of scripture and while I am fully aware that it was a word for a specific group at the time, God set it ablaze before me and released portions of that promise over me today, here in my bedroom, as I cry out for America the beautiful.

I will type out a large portion of scripture and leave it for you to search out places of God’s promise for America within it. I’m excited to press into those places for myself and would love to hear if any of this scripture rang out in your heart as a word for today too! God has made the Bible alive through the Holy Spirit, that’s one reason I know a scripture for yesterday can also become a word for our here and now.

“This is what the Lord says, He Who made the earth, the Lord Who formed it and established it- the Lord is His name: ‘Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says about the houses in this city and the royal palaces of Judah that have been torn down to be used against the siege ramps and the sword in the fight with the Babylonians: ‘They will be filled with the dead bodies of the men I will slay in my anger and wrath. I will hide my face from this city because of all its wickedness. ‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before. I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against Me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me. Then this city will bring Me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.’ “This is what the Lord says: ‘You say about this place, “It is a desolate waste, without men or animals.” Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither men nor animals, there will be heard once more the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord, saying, “Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; His love endures forever.” For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,’ says the Lord.   Jeremiah 33:2-11

Deeper Day 158: Holiness

What leads us to holiness? What is required?

Jesus.

He made us holy with His blood. The great refining is what takes place after the blood washes us clean and affords us access to the Father and a residence in heaven. Some experience in a moment a great shifting in their lives that reflects a great refining. Only God can do that. Most of us, however, experience a more gradual process that still only God can do. One thing is true though, both groups of people will continue to walk out a lifetime of refining. It’s never finished this side of heaven. No matter how much healing I receive in my heart, I continually find myself standing at a precipice where I know deep healing of another level is the only way forward. This is because I consist of many layers inside. I have so many different layers of life lived and lies believed and hurts received, that as one layer is healed it gives room for the next to be discovered and recovered. This is the beauty of the believer’s life.

This long process of refining leads us ever closer to Abba. We shouldn’t hate it, because it is altogether loving.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him Who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone He accepts as a son.” Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. Hebrews 12:1-13

Prayer Moment: God, I surrender to Your refining hand. Forgive me for times that I’ve turned away in discomfort. I commit today, to being still as You work on my life. I am committed to Your loving hand. Forgive me of my sins and lead me down paths of righteousness for Your name sake. I adore You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Deeper Day 157: Faith and Deeds

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that- and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:14-26

Faith and deeds are like peanut butter and jelly, one is far better when coupled with the other, leaving a much more pleasant taste in the mouth when combined. Too much peanut butter becomes overwhelming and causes a dry mouth and makes it hard to swallow, but too much jelly is far too sweet and can make you feel sick to your stomach. What is most pleasing is a good mixture of the two. Faith and deeds are much like this analogy. God makes it abundantly clear in the above passage that faith and deeds are equally important and meant to work in partnership with one another.

The earthly events lately have been truly revealing, as I have mentioned before, and some of what’s been exposed is how well we balance our faith/deed ratio.

Today, I hope you will look at your day to day life and weigh the importance you place on each of the two. Are you a swirly person who resides strictly in the realm of faith and don’t reach out in action very often? Are you a super practical person who places utmost importance on deeds, all the while working yourself into a self-led frenzy? Are you beginning to see the importance of balance?

Prayer Moment: God, I pray that You would bring a balance to my life. Balance my faith with my deeds so I am more useful to You. Don’t let me get so swirly that I forget I need to act sometimes. Likewise, don’t let me get so caught up in my works, that I forget to connect to Your power. Hold me close in the friction between faith and deeds. Oh, how I love the beautiful friction I keep finding in my walk with You. It’s the friction that I know is required to make diamonds. You never press without purpose. Thank You for loving me. In Jesus name, Amen.

Deeper Day 156: Fault Lines

All the disturbances that are happening in our world right now can reveal very real fault lines in our hearts. The places where we unknowingly believed or were simply raised with a lie. This lie can take root in our hearts, the place where a “truth” that’s not an actual truth can establish itself during our youth and become a strongly held belief as an adult. Today is a good time to dismantle such places.

“How do I know if I’ve believed such an untruthful truth?”, you may be asking. There is only one way, ask the Father. God knows all, sees all and is the only One to truly know your heart. Only He can pinpoint your fault lines. Will you ask Him?

I have spent so much time lately, going before God and asking about different thought patterns and deeply held beliefs that I have always had. Things that I don’t know the source of and have simply always had inside. These are places where a lie could have been placed when I was a child.

What do I lose from bringing all my thoughts and my whole heart before God? If what I think is true, is really truth then God will reinforce it and make it an unshakeable place, but if by chance it’s not fully true, then God can place His whole truth in that place. I have nothing to lose, neither do you.

If we really believe that all our thought patterns and deeply held beliefs are truth, then we have nothing to be worried about, right?

Today is short because I am hoping you will go to God and take an inventory of your own heart. We should never have any part of ourselves that we will not bring before God. In full surrender, I bring ALL my thoughts and beliefs to God and allow Him to sift through all of them. What remains will be unshakeable.

Prayer Moment: God, I present my whole belief system to You. I lay before You now, my deeply held beliefs about myself, others and Your kingdom and I ask You to breathe on whatever is true and to blow away all that is half-truth or rooted in a lie. I present my whole heart to You now and surrender to your instruction. I trust You exclusively. I trust You with full abandon. You alone are able to sift my heart and mind and bring about a resurrection of truth and a revelation of what isn’t. Thank You for Your tender care. I adore You. In Jesus name, amen.

At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken- that is, created things- so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:26-29

May the God of peace, Who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21

Deeper Day 155: Reconciliation

Reconciliation: The restoration of friendly relations. The action of making one view or belief compatible with another.

God spoke this word to me a few days ago, before the unjust death of George Floyd. It’s always interesting when I hear a word from Him and then type it into my phone to use later that week for a devotional, still having no idea how profound that word will be just a few days later.

And as easy as it could be to speak to that right now, I want to shift our focus to the One Who we most need to be reconciled to and how that’s only possible through Jesus. When we really press into this thought we discover that the only way to reconcile the troubles on the earth right now is with Jesus. While this is a powerful statement, I feel like far too many of us find it a weak or somehow overused statement, but how is that even possible? Has the cross lost its power? Has Jesus’ sacrifice somehow become old news?!

No! It remains the immovable power to save. The earth shaking and veil ripping power that came into the earth as a newborn baby and collided with sin and death on the cross. Storming the gates of hell and ripping the keys from the hands of the enemy as Jesus overcame the grave.

The only way for us to enter into Heaven is to be reconciled to the Father through Jesus Christ.

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all men- the testimony given in its proper time. And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle- I am telling the truth, I am not lying- and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles. I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.  1 Timothy 2:5-8

From this standpoint we can reach out into the world and offer the reconciliation that lasts. From the realization that none is holy apart from God, we can reach across the boundary lines and take hold of another’s hand and lead them into partnership with the Truth.

The truth is that with God all things are possible, including a deep reconciliation across America. It IS possible. We are not so far gone that we cannot find Him again. If you’ve spent much time reading your Bible, then you will note that far worse kingdoms and rulers have been brought into the holiness of God. We are arrogant if we believe that somehow our world and America now are worse that Sodom and Gomorrah or the reign of Nebuchadnezzar.  When Nebuchadnezzar saw the power of God, he recognized it and the truth shook him and he praised God. Darius, when brought face to face with the power of God to save Daniel from the lion’s den, wrote a decree that all the people must fear and reverence God.

It’s happened before, it can happen again.

Prayer Moment: God, we cry out for reconciliation today. Lord bring dreams to people in America who don’t know You. Show Yourself to those in power and draw them into repentance. I pray over my own neighborhood, let everyone on my street be saved. Show me any way that I can partner with You to draw them into a real, life changing relationship with You. Help me to love my neighbor as myself. Lord, forgive me for times when I’ve been jaded against my neighbors. Thank You for loving us all so much that Jesus died in order to reconcile us to You. Let us never take that for granted. In Jesus name, Amen.

King Nebuchadnezzar, To the peoples, nations and men of every language, who live in all the world: May you prosper greatly! It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me. How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His dominion endures from generation to generation. Daniel 4:1-3

Deeper Day 154: Agreement

As a musician and worship leader who loves to hear the sound of all the instruments working together and who passionately loves beautiful and even sometimes dissonant harmony, I had a revelation the other day. I realized that when the instruments are all working together in one accord it brings agreement. It struck me that harmony is voiced agreement. I never knew that’s why I loved it so much until now. I can literally feel a pull on my ear when I hear beautiful agreement happening in music.

Agreement: Harmony or accordance in opinion or feeling; a position or result of agreeing.

It’s so interesting to look up the definition of even the most common words, to discover a deeper understanding of what we are saying. Even in its very definition, agreement uses the word harmony and accordance. God is really neat in the way He reveals things to my heart.

When I pressed into this thought of agreement, I realized that I thrive in any situation when I feel agreement. It moves way past worship and music, it is something I love to experience in any setting. Working together with a common goal or purpose. I am also discovering that I love to discuss and learn and forge out ideas and curriculum with other people. This is something that is exciting to me, when I am received as someone who is intelligent enough to genuinely contribute. It really revealed to me that I have not felt that way most of my life.

The symbiotic relationships I currently have at our new church are not only welcoming, but I feel new places in my heart and imagination coming to life because of the agreement.

I now see that when we are allowed to have individual thoughts and others don’t brush them off or dismiss them, it can spark to life deeper and deeper thoughts and ideas. Never underestimate the power of agreement.

I have also seen this in my children. When they come to me with an idea or a new creation, I always speak life and encouragement. I take it a step further though, I always reach into what I know of their original design and speak life to it. I encourage the giftings and anointings that I know God placed into their hearts when He originally conceived of them. Every single time I do this, I see a light come into their eyes and a wide smile spread across their face. It has led to so much breakthrough in them.

Don’t be afraid to speak agreement into someone’s life. I spent much of my life looking for someone to say, “Yes, I see that in you too.” Every place where that has happened, is a place in my heart, that has experienced exponential growth.

Prayer Moment: As I write this, I feel some of you thinking, “I have never had anyone agree with my heart before.” I feel some of you realizing you have a deficit in this area. To you I speak encouragement. I didn’t have it for many years either, in fact, my husband was one of the first. Before him, it was a couple of college professors who spoke agreement into my life. If you feel depleted in this place, I encourage you to take that to God and ask Him to speak over your life. When I need encouragement, I literally tell God that and ask Him to send it to me. It’s a worthwhile practice. If you are on the opposite side of this and feel very confident and uplifted by agreement in your life already, then I challenge you to become that voice of agreement for someone else. I have experienced so much joy finding the gold in others and speaking life to it! You will not regret it.

Every word of God is flawless, He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Proverbs 30:5

Deeper Day 153: Fog

I see myself looking at a cloud of fog before me, and all I could see at first was a reflection of myself. Like an echo of the fear inside. As I pressed forward in this thought, I squinted my eyes a bit and then I began to see a set of red eyes. Those eyes of intimidation seem to say, “How dare you press forward!” So, I step back and focus on what’s further, beyond myself and the intimidation. On the other side of the fog, I begin to see a Holy white light. This is the opposite of fog, it’s the clarity of all clarity. It’s something so far beyond clear that it is Holiness. And I have learned this is where the Father resides.

As many of us are feeling the weightiness of the fog all around us right now, it’s so important to remember that God is not hazy. He is clear. Clarity. In Him there is no confusion or randomness. Our God is very deliberate and has planned for everything.

Our God has seen the beginning and the end, so we can absolutely and without hesitation, trust Him to guide us through anything.

I am telling you this firmly, if you feel out of control or consumed by all that you can’t fathom the outcome of right now, it’s time to take a step back and reset your focus to see beyond the fog. It’s time to ask God to give you eyes to see how He sees. 20/20 vision is what we need. Full clarity.

If we try to navigate this season apart from a close walk with Jesus, we will struggle to make it through. But take heart! Our God is a loving and patient Father Who is not only willing to walk with you, but He desires to walk with you.

Prayer Moment: I encourage you to take a little extra time today to reset your focus on the Father. Ask God to tune your ears to hear His voice. Ask God to set your heart to His tempo, and not the tempo of panic. The Father is always willing to partner with our lives, but we must take these moments to allow Him the access. Will you give Him this place in your life today? Will you turn away from the fear and manipulation that is so prevalent in the world today? Will you give Him the throne of your heart? He is near. God is with us.

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people. Exodus 13:21-22

The Lord fights for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14

I lift up my eyes to You, to You whose throne is in heaven. As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till He shows us His mercy. Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt. We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant. Psalm 123

Deeper Day 152: Great Collision

What happens when your fear collides with your faith?

There are so many moments throughout our lives when we will see our fears and faith collide. It is in these moments that we make a decision, which god will I serve? Will I serve the god of fear and hopelessness, or will I serve the God of the universe, the Creator of all things? These moments happen for every person, but the responses can be so varied.

This Covid stuff has caused a collision of fear and faith like we never imagined. Immediately when things began to emerge and I saw that America was going to make some strange decisions, I went to God first. Before the media and before I consulted others, and He placed a giant peace within me. Then He asked me for something. He asked me to be a voice of peace and praise throughout this time.

I responded with my “Yes” even though it was uncomfortable, but what unfolded for me personally because of this choice is something I don’t think I’ve mentioned yet.

Because I had committed to daily encouragements for a season, I had motivation to get dressed more often than I would have otherwise, since we had nowhere to go anyway. I had to remain focused on truth, in order to share truth and peace, so it covered my heart and mind. I had the interaction with the facebook world because of the videos that helped to combat any loneliness I was feeling. And the greatest benefit for me was that my children saw that I was navigating this trying time with peace and not releasing fear over our household.

These great collisions are revealers.

If this had all happened many years ago when my faith was fledgling and I was largely clueless about God, I might have walked a far different path. I thank God every day for the time we’ve put into our relationship together. Time with Him is exponentially invaluable.

What it is that comes out of you when your fear and faith collide? We all have to learn how to still and quiet our souls. Don’t be ashamed if your response was from a position of fear. We ALL battle this. We ALL have to grow in this, and it’s our history with Jesus that makes it easier and easier as times come and go.

Without my struggles of yesterday, I would have been woefully unprepared for this day and time. I thank God for His mercy and that He has disciplined me to withstand the ups and downs of life.

Prayer Moment: God, I pray that every day you would give me courage to choose faith over fear. Lord, I know I have failed at this many times in the past, but today is a new day! Today, I choose Your voice over all others. I choose to believe in Your goodness. You remain the same and I trust in that. Thank You for being Who You are. I adore You. In Jesus name, Amen.

My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of You among the peoples. For great is Your love, higher than the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let Your glory be over all the earth. Psalm 108:1-5

Deeper Day 151: Sprouts

Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so, they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the soul makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.                     Isaiah 61:7-11

New things are sprouting throughout America during this unusual season. Good things. Right things. Things that many thought would and could never happen…But God.

God calls what was dead back to life. He is the resurrection power.

He brings things to life, but I’ve discovered a huge key is this, that our words can partner with His good works. In other words, don’t speak death to what He is resurrecting. Instead, use your measure of faith and speak into the life He is restoring.  Are you willing to partner with something that you see or feel God moving in, even if you have no idea how it will come to pass?

Is your faith strong enough to lean upon God to do truly impossible things? Impossible things are His specialty. Impossible is where miraculous takes over. This is that time. God has moved into this man- made situation and is bringing about that which none believed could happen.

Families gathering together and re-establishing their bonds. Families eating meals at the dinner table again. Churches live streaming into countless living rooms on Sunday mornings, bringing worship into homes where it may never have been before. God is on the move friends.

Prayer Moment: God, open my heart to partner with the big moves You are making across America. Teach me how to guard my words so that I stay in alignment with what You are doing, and not just what I’m used to seeing You do. In Your infiniteness You can do all things. Your sovereignty is gloriously powerful. Help me to seize the day with You! Anoint me and stir me to pray for the deeper things. Give me words to release over the earth. I chose to partner with You, because I trust You and I know that with You ALL things are possible. In Jesus name, Amen.
